Description:

Elbeco Incorporated is a public safety uniform manufacturer since 1907; seeking a detail oriented administrative assistant who is proficient in Excel use to support our product development department.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

 

Assist the Product Development department in the processing of stock and special product initiatives from ideation through the pre-production stages to insure efficient, accurate and timely delivery.

 

Duties:

Request, coordinate and track lab dips, fabric, trims and product sample requests from the technical department. Work with the Product Manager, Technical and Sourcing Departments to process sample requirements. 

Process specification changes, initiating style additions and coordinating samples. Create and maintain cost sheets for specials for review and approval.

Add and update sales specifications as required. Enter and update new and existing special styles in AS400 and Salesforce.com.

Administer close-out process and maintain x-styles in AS400.

Assist in the maintenance and follow up of project milestones in Company’s project management system, Base Camp.  Assist in updating product details in Company’s CRM system, Salesforce.

Participate in and manage meeting notes of the bi-monthly Product Development meetings

Create and maintain various spreadsheets and documents in relation to new products or communications to sales.

Coordinate all package shipments to sales reps, vendors and customers.  Maintain shipping log, tracking packages through delivery.

Assemble and coordinate sample distributions to reps, working in conjunction with Marketing Department.

Organize, stock and maintain the Elbeco and competitive product library and product collection in the conference room. Maintain library spreadsheet.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational, detail oriented, interpersonal, multitask, communications, and consensus building skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Apparel industry experience a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Minimum education – 2-year college degree or equivalent experience.
